Indonesia Local Chapter Program Garners Interest from Vocational Schools

Map Master Local Chapter Ever since the Map Master Local Chapter program in Indonesia kicked off in May 2015, the HERE Indonesia Community Team has seen significant contribution from each local chapter month after month. In just over a period of 3 months, the local chapters have grown from 6 cities to the current 10 with majority of the cities emerging from Aceh (the northwestern city of Indonesia) and Lombok island. This, in addition to the local flash mob campaigns they have rolled out, it is therefore not surprising that the HERE Indonesia Community team has received many requests from groups, organizations and institutions to be part of the local chapter. Goals of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) ...

This workbook contains links to one or more external sources that could be unsafe

This short article shows you how to resolve the error “This workbook contains links to one or more external sources that could be unsafe.” which may keep popping up when you are opening the Excel workbook. I have been researching for a bit but I do not seem to find a build-in Excel solution for that. Alternatively, I managed to find Findlink http://www.manville.org.uk/software/findlink.htm Excel Add-ins. There is a file you will find findlink.xla. Open the file with the error. Go to File -> Add-Ins. Under Manage: choose Excel Add-ins then click Go. Browse to your findlink.xla then click OK. Up to this point you will be panicking as you may not find anything in your Spreadsheet Ribbon after selecting the add-ins. To resolve this, do not close the Excel spreadsheet, but instead double click on the findlink.xla file. This is how it looks. Now you can find your broken links. :)

Hands-on Experience with the Microsoft HoloLens @ Build 2015

This comes a little late, especially with a bunch of lucky people getting to play with the HoloLens and an awesome Halo model at E3, where the HoloLens apparently had a few changes since I last tried it. Regardless, let me regale you with the tale of my experience with this fantasy-become-reality wearable at the Build 2015 Developer Conference in San Francisco on the 29th of April. Registration Microsoft announced they were accepting sign-ups for people to try out the HoloLens right after the opening Keynote (they started by saying they brought down a 100 sets, imagine the emotional ride as we realized we weren’t going to be able to bring one home). There were 3 categories available for sign-up – One-to-One Demo, Media Presentation, and Holographic Academy Training. With the link out to register, the people around us whipped out their phones to book their slot. Rong Kang and I had our laptops out, being in a conference call with our awesome colleagues back home. Registration for us was fast and easy, and we noticed that people were having trouble registering – the last step of the form (selecting your category) wasn’t working on some mobile devices! We ended up on the first batch of attendees to be on the One-to-One Demo, a 30-minute session with the HoloLens from 12:30pm to 1:00pm at the Intercontinental Hotel next to the Moscone Center. ...
