Last week we had 2 developer sessions on Windows Phone 7 application development, RIAction (Apr 20) and Hackerspace (Apr 22). The one we did in RIAction was similar to the sgdotnet session (Apr 16). You can check out this post for the slides and links to resources that was shown in those first two sessions.
Before we get into the details of the Hackerspace session, I would like to highlight some updates and additional info regarding the i.Match BizMatch session, which was supposedly this April 29th.
- Deadline for CFP submission has been moved to June 30. And the CFP launch is now on May 13.
- There is no direct funding involved for this particular CFP. Here is a quick overview from Chiah Li Ong (Expara) about i.Match-
It is a platform that is designed to bring together media companies with Industry Partners such as Microsoft to facilitate collaboration between the two parties, thus we do not give out funding support but companies / individuals are welcome to approach us if they like to find out a bit more about some of the public sector funding programs for example the i.JAM Micro-funding Scheme. You are also able to pitch your proposals to the Microsoft executives – they will be present to answer any questions you may have regarding the CFP.
For more info/questions/submissions for the CFP you can check this link.
In Hackerspace last week, we turned the WP7 session into a “show-and-tell” and Q&A type of session. We had some familiar faces from both sgdotnet and RIAction who turned up, which was cool! Here are some pics stolen from the Michael Sync’s blog (Silverlight MVP)
You can find some of the source code shown in the presentations here (go to Source Code folder). Be sure to check out the README file in that folder for short descriptions of the solutions there.
We are still finalizing the WP7 developer sessions for May so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, let us know (Twitter – @innovativesg)if you are building WP7 apps. We are very eager to see what you guys are doing!

The design for your web site is a bit off in iCab. Even So I like your blog. I may have to install a “normal” browser just to enjoy it. 🙂
