Channel Newsasia has officially launched their Windows 8 app. To download the app, you can do so from the Windows Store.
Some key features of the app include:
- Snap view – use another app alongside Channel Newsasia. Snap the app to the left or right side of the screen and then start using another app. With snap view, you can adjust the size of the app to one-third, two-thirds or full screen.
- Read, swipe, read. While reading articles from a similar category, swipe to the left to read the next page or next article.
- Share charm – Email articles of interest to like-minded friends. Simply swipe from the right edge of Windows 8 and then choose the Share charm to share content from the app, such as a video or news article, to your friends via email.
- Search charm – search when you’re inspired. Similar to the Share charm, the Search charm makes it easy to find an article.
