HERE: Who are you, where are you, and what do you do?
Worawut: My name is Worawut Khantee. I am a fresh graduate from the Faculty of Public Health Mahidol University and did my majors in Health Education and Behavior Science.
HERE: How did you become a HERE Map Master?
Worawut: I have been part of the HERE Expert Community in Thailand, helping out with map edits, finding and adding new places and ensuring the data entered was accurate. It came as a surprise to me when I received the Map Master title from HERE and it was good to know that I belong to the pioneer batch of Map Masters.
HERE: Do you have any suggestions or tips for wannabe-Map Masters or aspire to eventually become a HERE Map Master?
Worawut: Be willing to learn and seek improvement every now and then and keep yourself updated with any special map activity news regularly.
HERE: How were you introduced to the HERE Map and what was your first contribution?
Worawut: I am a Nokia Lumia user and also a member of the Nokia Lumia club. I chanced upon an announcement to participate in some mapping activities organized by HERE Thailand and being a HERE Map user, I knew that the areas around my vicinity were lacking in those roads and places information. So, I joined the HERE Expert Community in Thailand and the first thing I did was to help update the roads around my University.
HERE: Who has impressed you in the HERE Expert Community Program, and why?
Worawut: I enjoyed the interaction and exchange of ideas among the HERE Expert Community Team and community members as such information exchange can help us see the bigger picture and even resolve issues in the HERE Map Creator.
HERE: What is your best experience so far being a Map Master and in the HERE Expert Community Program?
Worawut: Being able to meet new people from all walks of life around the globe and having a well-connected network that brings people and events together. I love the fact that we are a close knitted community.
HERE: What are some of the areas of improvement which you would like to see in the HERE Expert Community Program?
Worawut: Let’s aim to develop some tools that are easier to use for the community.
HERE: Final words/Your Motto as a Map Master
Worawut: We might not be well-known for now, but one thing is for sure that we are developing HERE Maps which is the world’s best map for the goodness of mankind!
