
KICKLE is the brainchild of French startups Neitiv(technical experts in instantaneous communication) and Wipple(market experts in collaborative technology). This collaboration was inspired by a client who was looking for a simple solution based on Lync (now Skype for Business) technology. KICKLE is located in the Microsoft Technology Center at Paris and is expanding to Singapore and Indonesia. In this startup feature, we speak with Matthieu GIORGINI, cofounder of KICKLE who tells us about his personal experience with KICKLE.
1) How did you come up with the idea of starting KICKLE and what are the main problems are you trying to solve?
KICKLE is trying to change the entire way people are thinking of videoconferencing. It is known that simple solutions are expensive while economical solutions are complicated. Therefore, we wanted to create something which is both simple and cost effective. A product that is simple enough even for non-IT employees to use, a product that you have already installed and paid in your computer. That is why we created KICKLE.
2) What feedback did you get from users of KICKLE?
As what you should know, KICKLE is the most user-friendly videoconferencing system in the world. Every action button is shown on the screen and you could plan a meeting with just 3 clicks. The users are pretty glad about all those functions and extra capabilities we have created, as well as the quality of the products. Also, once software problems happen, our technical team will deal with it remotely within 2 hours.
3) What has been the greatest challenge for your team?
We realize that in the technological industry, there are always competitors and newborns popup. However, we are confident about our technology and our technical team is working on updates every day.
However, our greatest challenge is to keep the solution simple while adding new features. Our goal is to provide a “complete meeting room experience”, from the meeting booking to the checkout, through creative apps or hardware.
4) I see you are pretty confident about your solution, so where does this confidence come from?
Well, we are familiar with the market, the partners, the influencers and the clients. We know how to build up a profitable business, we know how to drive marketing strategies to bring high-qualified customers. We care about our clients, we try our best to bring the easiest and most economical way to make their business more efficient.
5) What’s one advice you would give to budding entrepreneurs?
We would say, nothing is impossible as long as you dare to think. Once the idea comes across your mind, stick on it and make it happen.
