Submit Your Nomination for Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) Awards 2017 by Steven Neo

The annual SiTF Awards is the only award that is organised by the ICM industry for the industry in Singapore and is supported by government agencies such as GovTech, SPRING and other industry associations such as Singapore Computer Society (SCS) and IT Management Association (ITMA).  The objective of the award is to promote and celebrate local innovations in ICM solutions and products.

Recognising the impact of new disruptive technologies and the changing technology landscape, SiTF introduces the new sub-categories for the Best Innovative Infocomm Product or Solution and a new category for the Peregrine Falcon Investor Award.

The Awards are open to all Singapore-registered companies, organisations, and educational institutions.

The categories for the Awards include:

  • Best Innovative infocomm Product/Solution (Consumer / Enterprise)
    • This category invites entries from companies that have developed innovative infocomm product, application or solution in the following sub-categories: Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Big Data, CyberSecurity, Digital Services, Immersive Media (Augmented Reality (AR) / Virtual Reality (VR)) and Internet of Things (IoT).
  • Best Innovative Use of Infocomm Technology Award
    • This category looks at the best innovative use of infocomm technology in public sectors, private enterprises and SMEs which have reaped significant improvements in productivity or competitiveness as a result.
  • Best ICM (Infocomm, Communications & Media) Student Project Awards
    • This category looks at innovative use of infocomm technology by a student or group of students in the tertiary sector.
  • Peregrine Falcon Investor Award
    • This category recognises an active investor who has made significant contribution to the ICM start up ecosystem.

Preliminary judging will be held from 15 – 17 August 2017. Shortlisted entries from preliminary judging will be informed via email on their successful qualification to the final round of judging by 30 August 2017.

Final judging will be held from 26 – 28 September. Winners of this year’s Awards will also be invited to participate in the Asia-Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards and World Summit Awards later this year.

Participants of this year awards will be invited to Pitching Workshop and finalists will have 1-to-1 coaching on presentations. The nomination period closes at 6 pm, 30 June, 2017.
