What is Web Camp?
Calling all students out there! Do join us for this 1-day Microsoft Web Camp event. Web Camps are free, fun, no-fluff events for developers, by developers.
You learn to build cutting edge web sites with the new release of ASP.NET and Web Tools for Visual Studio 2013… and then deploy and scale them with Windows Azure.
You will also learn how to deploy and scale your web sites with the cloud.

Cost
No fee is charged for attending the training.
A light catering will be provided.
Students are responsible for securing their own accommodations, and covering all expenses related to their own travel arrangements.

| Building Web Applications using ASP.NET technologies |
We will be discussing about Models, Views and Controllers (MVC), and how to create an ASP.NET MVC web application and deploy it to the cloud. |
| Building Web Front Ends using latest web standards |
This session will cover modern web standards such as HTML5 and CSS3, and also an overview of JavaScript. |
| Running, improving and maintaining a site in the real world |
We will discuss some of the features of using Azure for real-world scenarios, such as managing the variation of your site load. |
| Hands-on Labs | This workshop will cover a series of hands-on projects, such as getting started with ASP.NET Web API, Single-page applications and more! |
Note: You are required to bring your laptop to do hands On Labs (HOL). You will do HOL at your pace with help from instructors when you need it.
