60 Developers, 15 Hours of coding for 16 Great Windows Phone Application by Cheng Lei

We had many developers coming down to the Microsoft Singapore venue to compete in the Nokia X-Calibre Hackathon conducted by Nokia Singapore on 19 November 2011. Everyone is busy coding and polishing our their best Windows Phone 7 Application for the competition within a short period of 15 hours. They were all working on application for the Windows Phone 7.5 (code-named “Mango”) using the 7.1 SDK.

In the Microsoft Singapore venue, we had 4 Windows Phone 7 Champs assisting the competitors to answer technical and design issues during the competition. 3 of those Windows Phone 7 Champs are also Microsoft Student Partners – Kin Seng, Kim and myself. Lots of awesome applications were completed during the competition, I shall update on the screenshots and results later as judging is still going on.
