WIN12_Anthony_03

We’re back folks! Thanks for waiting. In Windows Phone Challenge #5, the theme is “Bridging the GAP” on Windows Phone.
We have taken your feedback from the past Windows Phone Challenges into consideration and will be exercising flexibility for ideas generation for #5.

How? You will suggest the Ideas for this Challenge. We will give priority to ideas relevant to Singapore’s context.

We have 3 recommended ways to generate Challenge Ideas, but please don’t let that stop you from proposing your own original ideas 🙂
*Update* First 10 approved Challenge Ideas will be awarded 20GB of OneDrive storage space for a year!

  1. Check out madeinsingapore for “Request” from local Windows Phone users, and submit a proposal targeting the “Request” to win8sg@microsoft.com. You might want to skip the banking applications, flight booking and payment applications. Proposal(s) are subjected to amendments and approvals (rejections alike).
  2. Propose new ideas (or reference existing ideas on iOS/android) which you think would be great in “Bridging the GAP” for Windows Phone users in Singapore and submit a short proposal to win8sg@microsoft.com . Proposal(s) are subjected to amendments and approvals (rejections alike).
Here are some places to look for Singapore Apps ranking on iOS and Android. Do note that most of these top ranking applications are by worldwide publisher. Do filter them out and look for local/Singapore publishers.

  3. Check out http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/windows-phone-user-group-321/  to find out what users want on their Windows Phone in Singapore and submit a short proposal to win8sg@microsoft.com
