To coincide with the international conference and exhibition on the Internet of Things (IoT Asia 2017), a special edition of ACE Microsoft Tech Talks was held where Gerald shared his insights on the Internet of Things (IoT) and how the audience could connect and build their own IoT solutions using Microsoft Azure Platform. As an added bonus, we have specially invited our Microsoft BizSpark Startup and Partner, Overdrive, to provide a short presentation about their IoT platform

This session was warmly received by the community, with over 105 sign-ups and a turnout of over 40 participants comprising of startups, developers, and industry professionals.

During the event, our Microsoft BizSpark Startup and Partner, Overdrive, provided an exclusive showcase into their next generation IoT (Internet of Things) platform. Overdrive specializes in custom IoT solutions to help you better connect, communicate, and control your devices. From managing fleet to securing homes, tracking deliveries to ensuring your child’s safety; Overdrive wants to help you connect the things that move.

At the end of the session, the audience mingled over light refreshments, and connected with Gerald and Overdrive to find out more about Azure IoT services and their applications in real life scenarios.
